Default LT-1 Fan Install Pic's Are Up

Oh yeah, those lovely <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> brackets HAVE to go. I am looking to fab some out of 1/8" diamond tread stainless or aluminum.

yea those are some nasty brackets. i bought some aluminum brackets about a foot long that have random holes in them. found them in the roofing part of home depot.they should work fine.are you connections on your fans at the bottom or top?

Bottom...

Two things I like about my install that you might want to consider:

1. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the LT-1 fan shroud and removed the wire looms going across the bottom of the radiator support so that the shroud would sit flat and flush.

2. I drilled a hole in the top radiator support(? You can see it in the pic) and used the factory radiator hose retainer to keep the hose in the almost stock position.

There is a bolt that comes up through the bottom support. I drilled the hole so that the bolt would slide up "into" the shroud. Also helps hold the fans in place if you keep the hole nice and tight.

Greg,
I looked on your site(s) but didn't see any better pic's of your upper mounts. I would be interested in seeing what you fab'd.
