Default ls7 in a sierra?

has anyone done this yet? i would like to eventually do this to my truck, what all is involved in swapping to an LS type motor? EVERYTHING in detail would be awesome, i have searched threads and whatnot and gotten several different answers, i just want the absolute most out of my truck, but still have a daily driver, and from the looks of the ls7, i think thats what ide like to swap

LS7=13k...

build a 408 or somethin and throw a turbo on it...or even just a 6.0 with some kind of power adder for ALOT less money

Yeah, what Dan said bro. The only reason to have an LS7 is so you can brag about it or possibly win a show trophy...........You can spend a lot less on a 6.0 and get the same or more power out of it. Trust me........save the money.

I think that building an engine, would be the cheapest unless you can find a 6.2 but they are pretty new and will probably be expensive also.

Get a 6.0, bore it out, forge it, boost it...done.

You can spend probably 5-6k on a motor, 2-3k on a transmission, and walk all over that ls7...
