Just wanted to know if the ls7 cam works on our truck engines. and yes I searched but I couldn't find anything that relates to my question.

It does, but it's not easy and definitely not worthy it. It's not a very good cam for an n/a motor.

it's going on a blown engine. I want it because is a little bigger than the gt7 cam and a lot cheaper (used). what's needed to make it work?

LS2 timing cover and sensor, wiring harness extension. The cam reluctor is on the front of those cams instead of in the back like on our truck cams.

Not to sure what type of blower your planning on using, but some of the guys down at Magnacharger have been running that cam on the dyno with good results from what i have heard. Might try giving them a call.
