Default ls6 manifold on 5.3

i have been looking into the possibility of putting an ls6 intake manifold on my 06 5.3 sierra. generally it will fit because i have electric fans, but i dont know much else about it. i dont have egr or air injection. has anyone ran one of these? theoretically i should gain some more power at the top end but you never know. any help would be great, thanks

06Sierra welcome to PT.net

To answer your question yes you can put a ls6 intake on your 5.3 but it will require a little modification to make it work. The search button is the place I would start to find out more information on the swap.

Here's some good write ups
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=384708
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=357424
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...7&page=1&pp=10

But dude for future reference use the search button...you'll find tons of info on just about anything you type in...Before you do this swap though, what are your current mods?
