Default LS6 intake verses LS2 Truck intake

What is the difference in these as far as flow, plenum volume and all that? Trying to figure out which one would be best for my 383. Thanks.

if you havent bought one yet.... look into the l92 intake... it is a pretty damn good flowing intake... and the runners are designed to make a good amount of HP in the upper end, while still making crushing Tq that your 383 is gonna wanna make

There were several comparos over on tech. Despite having a 90mm tb the LS2 intake did not make as much power as the LS6 intake. The numbers were similar but not greater than the LS6.

Go the FAST 90, Vic Jr, or L92 for greatest power. And stick with the LS6 for the budget power.

I agree with Z06.... you know i do bro.... but the port velocity at low speed is better... yes the peak numbers are great with the ls6.... but the overall... "where you drive" numbers are very good for the L92. and its not crazy expensive either

Good point, I neglected to mention I'm running a 4k TC, and had a 3k TC for the LS6 intake.

HAHA... yeah thats an important nte... and lets not mention what cam you were probably running....

I know 383s are known for neck snapping torque... I guess we should get more info about what he will be doing with the motor first....

so yeah.... what cam are you planning or already done, and what stall?

does the l92 intake work with non-l92 heads(what he has)?
