Default LS6 intake manifold on 4.8l

How much would I get out of a ls6 intake on my 4.8. I have the 243 heads on it. And will my tb bolt up to the ls6 intake manifold, it's a 2008 silverado extended cab. And also would I have to get a new MAF sensor?

I'm assuming this is the car manifold??

If so, it's not worth the hassle, as the truck manifolds are taller with more plenum volume. From everything I've read, a truck manifold will show increases in low RPM torque and no losses at every other RPM.

If it's the Trailblazer SS intake manifold, which is still an LS6, it is the best OEM intake from all the reading I've done. The GMT900 body style trucks got a similar version for all 4.8/5.3/6.0's from that point on, which are easier to find.

your truck has the 4 bolt 87mm tb. the ls6 intake has 3 bolt 78mm. it'd be a downgrade if you did it.
