has anyone yet bolted on a LS6 intake manifold to the their truck?

The car based intake manifolds will not clear the truck accessories. If I remember correctly the truck manifold out flows the ls1 intake and isnt much behind the ls6. They have the flow numbers of intakes here on the forum some where.

The mouth of the LS1/LS6 intake manifold sits lower than the truck manifold and the intake tube would have to run through the belt and pully system. therefore it won't work without some extensive fabrication. If you look at an LS6 intake and a truck intake the truck intake is taller which makes the mouth of it sit up higher.

if i remember correctly i think the ls6 manifolds out flow ours but you will lose low end torque. plus from what i hear it is a pita to mount. i think speartech has some brackets available.
