yes you will ned to use the f-body acc brackets, ect also the f-body rails and injects are different, you will also need to get adapters to plug into the inject ends to work...

speartec I do believe has the injector wiring adaptors.

I knwo they use to make an adapter for the pulleys.

My problem is actually finding a true ls6 Manifold. None of the BBK or Wieand or regular Ls1 manifolds, the actual ls6 manifold I can not seem to find.

LS6 intake come up for sale on tech all the time in the 300-350 range. But they go almost instantly. You gotta be lucky and find one right after it's been listed.

Not being a dick here or anything, but why do ya'll say "if you don't plan on spinning it past 6200 then it's not worht it." It seems to me that "WE" should be saying "if you don't plan on spinning it past 5550 then it's not worth it." What I'm trying to say is the there is a 650 rpm window for power to be made. If the truck intakes fall off @ 5500, then you would probably shift around this rpm range. If your going to shift anything over 5500, then would it be wise to put the LS6 intake on if you have the funds??

Only reason saying it is that when I was looking to do this upgrade, from the posts, write ups i have seen on them that that is about where the truck intake doesn't flow as good as the 6 intake. Maybe i missed something in there.. no offense takin..

How much HP do ya'll think it is worth to go to the 6 intake? Since the heads are on now, the intake and TB will be my "cork" so to speak.

If you have internal work done you should see 10-15+ HP ont he top end, maybe even more. It mostly depends on your cam selection. You can have an intake that flows all the CFM in the world and if the cam doesn't use it it is useless. What cam are you running now? The trick is to get the correct parts for what you have and bigger isn't always better. If you have a cam in the 224-230 range with .560ish lift the LS6 should be a very good match for it.

Are you comparing that to an LS1 intake or a truck intake? Because I know guys that pick up 12-15hp from an LS1 to an LS6 and guys who swap the truck manifold to the LS6 see typically near a 25hp increase up top.
