If I remember correctly the lines went off to the side of the drivers side. They aim toward the wheel well, instead of toward the firewall. I think it would be close, in reaching the lines. I was not sure on the vacume line. If my parts come in tomarrow, I will double check!

97/98 vette had a vaccum port on the regulator. its on mine and will be on any other. you can also swap out regulators for one off your truck if you had to. but it does have a vaccum port

Thanks for the info and pic's. They are alot of help. I just got back from the dealer and got part#'s 12556705 for the fuel rail and 12554677 for the regulator. I also got a hefty bill for $190. Just for ls1 intake gasket kit($89.13), longer bolts($66.60), and the bracket that holds the throttle cable+bolts it to the intake($19.00).

It looks like he's trying to pull vac from the elbow in front of the TB

No power steering bypass in the pic, but the vett does pull vac from the TB stock.

I was wondering how do you takeout the brass bosses in the plastic intakes. The part you screw into, on the intake. My ls1 intake is missing the bosses that the throttle linkage bracket bolt's to. I thought I could take the bosses out of the stock intake.

yes the lines aim towards fire wall on the trucks and towards fender on vette. isnt nothing really to slighly bend the lines to line up. We done this to a 408 already in a RCSB
