Yes it should be fine with only the addition of that stuff. If you don't have any other mods...I'd consider "helper" mods first.

Stall
LTs
Tuning
Etc

Maybe advance it 4* to bring the power level down a bit.

I'm also thinking about an ls6 cam,What would a good spring upgrade be?So it would be ok to run it without a tune until I get all my mods done? Stock or upgraded pushrods? How would you go about advancing the timing?

The cam would be ok without tune but you would have to get a tune to take full advantage of the cam. The springs you would need to use atleast the ls6 springs. Pushrods I would use comp hardened rods. As far as advancing it, get an adjustable timing chain from sdpc or more performance. I have a ls6 cam and springs for sale but hitman has dibs on it.

Definitely want to go to LS6 springs at a minimum. I don't think the stock LM4 springs will handle the extra lift but maybe this is only for the 02'+ Z06 model cam.
Pushrods are the weakest link in the GenIII engines right now. If you want to live above 6000 rpm go with better pushrods.
