Default ls6 build

I got a ls6 out of a 04 cts-v with 243 heads wana build a beast for a reg cab short bed 2wd looking to go 11's whats the best bang for the buck the motor needs bearing and possible crank. thinking maybe stroker

You could go 11s without a stroker if you did heads, 230+ cam, intake, 4.56 gear, 4k stall on it. but a 383 kit would make it alot easer. if the crank is bad i say go for it, havent really seen any na 383s run on here yet.

From my understaning, one of the benefits to more cubes is that you can run a bigger cam without the loss of low end power and drivability. But if your going for best bang for the buck, a camed 346 with a shot of n20 should do the trick. But if you are going to be replacing the crank, then why not go with a stoker.
