Hi guys i have the 5.3 colorado and was wondering if any of the ls series intake manifolds would work on these. im pretty sure they will because if i remember silverados and whatever else use 5.3l have done the swap with great results. so any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

 

well i just found an old post that pretty much says no, lol sooo that sucks. any other thoughts

 

LS6 intake would bolt to the heads but might run into clearance issues. You already have a good intake manifold though so the gains may be negligible anyways.

 

hmm maybe i will try it but i thought that people were using ls6 intakes on 5.3 with noticable gains. i dunno?

 

^Those people didn't have a TBSS intake manifold like I believe you do.

 

Wouldn't be worth the swap on your setup since I'm fairly positive that the 5.3 Colorados come with the factory 90mm truck intake

 

Hmm is there a way to confirm this, like a metric caliper on the opening of the intake manifold.
