Default LS3 and 6L80e swap

If this whole package was put together, how hard would it be to swap over into a NBS truck. I have been reading about the 24x and 58x reluctor wheel. There shouldnt be any problems becase of the motor and tranny together. Am i correct. There will obviously be some wiring issues, driveshaft issues, but is there anything extreme to make it all work. What stall speeds come with the stock 6l80e's.

Wide Open did the swap (cept with L92). I haven't seen him posting lately though. Might want to try to PM him. Regarding what I learned from him, the 6.2 is a whole different animal than the 6.0. He said it's a lot more powerful stock for stock and revs faster. This is both behind the 6l80e.

The 6.2 with 6L80E will rev quicker through 1st and 2nd gear because the ratios are higher in the transmission. This allows you to run a 3.23 or 3.4 rear end gear and have about the same bottom end acceleration as a 3.73 - 3.9.

You must have missed where I said he had the 6.0 and the 6.2 backed by the 6l80e. The 6.2 inherently revs faster than the outdated 6.0

I must have, all things taken into account the 6.2 does have a bit more power to it (hence revving more quickly). The L92 also has the advantages of improved cylinder heads (rectangular port, larger valves), VVT for the camshaft, and a .070" larger bore.

Yeah, looking back now I think I should have swapped the L92 instead of the LQ9. I don't know how difficult it would have been to mate to my return fuel system though. The L92 has nearly a 60hp advantage over the LQ9 in stock form not even taking into account the likely 80lbs weight savings due to the aluminum block.
