Matt, the FAST 90/90, do you know if that was v. a regular truck manifold?

The LS6 intake on an LS2 engine shows gains.

If it worked out, it would be nice to know that there's an intake upgrade for us truck guys that doesn't involve moving all of the accessories for clearance. Especially in a few years when the truck LS2 intake will be more readily available and cheaper to pick up...every little hp helps IMO

Yes if it can be done for 600 or so then I would do it for sure. Good luck to you man I wasnt trying to down your idea its a good idea just need to figure out the cost to performance gain of doing this mod. If you ahve good results by doing it then I would really think about doing its since yes I ahve a large stroker motor with a huge cam I can use all the air flow I can get. Keep us posted and Ill keep and eye peeled for an intake for you

Sorry it took so long to reply to this thread. I was watching where it was going before I jumped in. I know of a few that have the take off intake from the LS2 SSR as I am selling the MagnaChargers to them. I can see if any of them want to sell their old setup for a similar price as I sold mine. Below is the e-bay listing of my intake. The intake would look great if you shaved the outside of it of all the brackets and painted it. The upper plenum is huge as compared to the LS1/6 Intake and it didn't neck down inside.
