Default ls2 intake/throttle body swap on a lq4. Will the Throttle body work?

I want to run a car intake and I got a ls2 intake and throttle body and was wondering if the ls2 throttle body is compatible with the factory lq4 setup?

Yes it will bolt on. You will need a X link controller for the TB plug to the truck plug, some fuel line work, injectors, adapters.

I wanted to keep everything OEM. Is there a way to do it without the xlink?

i think i read somewhere here some guy just rewired the TB plug onto a nnbs TB plug. I looked at some diagrams of them and it seems doable.

Don't think so. All i do know is that the NBS TB has 2 sets of "LO REF" wires and 2 sets of "5V Ref" wires. And the NNBS, in your case ls2, has only 1 set of each. It's somewhere in this forum I read that a guy did it, he just left those 2 unspliced or just spliced em in with the others and it worked. I can't find the thread tho..

yeah that'll fix your TB plug issue, but how will that LS2 tac communicate with the lq4 pcm? Unless the plugs are the same..? which i doubt
