ls2 heads?

Default ls2 heads?

i have a lq4 and was wondering if stock ls2 heads fit on a lq4 and if they will be a good upgrade? or if stick to the stock ones? how about ls6 intake?

They will fit and will only bump your compression up the flow the same as 317 LQ4 heads. What are you future plans? If F.I you might want to stick with the 317s.

my plans are to add a ls6 intake(if thats a good choise) and add a cam and upgrade heads.

243 heads would give a nice 1 point bump in compression which will yield roughly 4% increase in power throughout the powerband.

Depending on how much you want to spend, TSP offers good budget heads around $1000-1200.

In an intake comparison in hiperformance chevy (as I recall) the LS6 did outperform the truck and LS1 higher in the rev range. On a heavy truck it has not proven to be worthwhile as an upgrade at all! Keep the truck intake probably. There are some theads about it.
