Default Ls2 block, 4.8 crank and rods, what piston?

Does any one know if a stock 6.0 piston will drop right in with this combination. I have every thing laying around to do it except pistons. I think this would be a fun little build going in a 2500lb isuzu pickup so the loss of torque shouldnt hurt to bad.
I know this has been done, but piston specs in this combination are hard to find

ls2 block
4.8 crank, gen4 4.8 rods
and 823 heads.

I am curious about this as well. Short stroke LS sounds like a lot of 8000rpm fun tbh

I'd seen a post on the good ol' Facebook where a gentleman used stock pistons. Sent him a message but have yet to hear the details

Yes it drops right in. The pin height is the same on LS pistons and in the case of the 4.8 they lengthened the rod to compensate for the shorter crank stroke. It's why guys take 4.8 flat tops and toss them in 5.3s lol. The deck height is identical as well.
