Default LS2 90mm TB Whine

Is it just mine or do all of these units whine. Mine is seems pretty loud when I pop the hood. Engine doesn't have to be running. I hear it as long as the key is in the run position.

Just wondering if this is normal operation or if there is something wrong with it.
Will have to do a vid. Definitely much louder than the stock 78mm TB.

Allso, has anyone looked at the LS2 TB at WOT? Mine does not go to full horizontal at 100% TP. I'd say that it opens to 75* if wide open is 90*. Don't see anything in the tune that would affect this. Could be the way it is supposed to operate.

The whine is nothing to be concerned with. It will do it for a while with the key on. The whine will stop after about 20-30 seconds with the key on. Its just the motor assembly energized.

as for the blade,...can you monitor this parameter with a scanning tool? From what I remember, mine doesn't go full horizontal but gets damn close.

Scan tool says 100%. I guess what that translates to physically is determined by the TB/TAC module design. Again, just making sure that this is normal operation.
