What would happen if I zero out the % torque reduction table?

you can do a search on this but i think the best way to get rid of TM is still adjusting the 'timing retard limit' table, i think it is called. on my truck all the numbers were -10deg, i put it to +10 all the way across and it now shifts much firmer, my truck never sees more than 10deg or so at WOT but a NA truck may see closer to 20deg so you might want to put it all the way up to 20deg. of course you will shorten the life of your tranny but it won't fall on it's face anymore

Just zero out all the tq mgt tables. You don't have to mess with the spark retard limit at all. I see no reduction in timing during my shifts with those tables zeroed. There's 5 tables + the 2 abuse mode tables.

the "timing retard limit" should be called the "torque managment table" whatever you set the number to in that table is what your timing will be at when you shift.

stock is -10, i set it to 0, it went to 0, i set it to 12, it went to 12. im assuming it works

But, we don't know for sure everything that it affects. There may be times when the timing may need to be reduced further than what you set.

yah, i havent done any tuning in a while so i just went and updated my knowledge. SO... if you have version 1.1 the spark retard limit table should be a last resort.

if you are trying to get rid of the torque reduction on the upshifts go to the "upshift torque reduction table" and change those. kinda makes sense lol.

as for the origional question, when i zero'd that out a while back i didnt notice a thing
