Question ls1edit

the question is, is it posible to change the fuel pressure? and will it hurt the injectors any or the fuel pump? Or do i just need to change out the injectors and fuel pump? thanks for the help in advance.

yes you can adjust the fuel presure and no it wont hurt anything. with edit there is no reson to adjust your fuel presure though.

you said in you pm that you thought you were running out of fuel up top, your truck runs good for an ext cab 4.8 but there is no way you are maxing out your fuel pump or injectors.

a stall would drop you alot of ET if your looking for a good project to do next

I would agree .. if you haven't done much to your truck, there's no way your maxing that pump.

MagnaCharger told me that the only reason they include the booster upmp with their kit is cause with the bigger injectors and the added fuel for the boost, the factory one starts running out of breath about 5500 rpm and up. That's feeding a LOT of fuel!

If you still wanna be safe, get ya a fuel pressure gauge to make sure. If your running out of fuel, then you will see the pressure start to drop.

thanks for the replies and the help maybe just running out of motor. I run the 1/8 mile in 9.7sec at 73mph and then the 1/4 at 15.23 at 88 maybe to tall of gear ,but cant hookup with 3.73 gears oh well stall is next i guess and alittle fine tunning with nelson performance!
