Default ls1 water pump

when i go to install the electric fans rather than pull the fan off the stock water pump would it be just as easy to put on an ls1 water pump without the fan assembly on it, since i'm doing the cam swap i figured i'd do it all at the same time to minimize coolant loss etc. anyone have any feedback on this, or will it even work?

if you have an electric fan and dont want to use the stock fan clutch assy. then it wont matter on whickh water pump you use.
as for the o2 sims, they will work but you will have to splice the connectors with the truck ones.

The upper radiator hose comes out at a different angle and a lot lower on the LS1. Might want to make sure your hose fits ok.
