When i had my 180 in, i found i lost top eng power. I have the 160 in now and i find better bottom end, and find the motor runs cooler and is easier to keep at the same temp. at the line. Just what i find mine is doing..... <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

I run a 160 and am pleased with it, gas mileage is a little worse since i dont have programming yet. keeps the engine nice and cool and seems to run a tad stronger

I have the 160 in my 01 5.3 and it keeps the truck between 170 and 178 on the hottest days according to a scanner and not the gauge. The MPG dropped a little (1 to 1.5 MPG)but the the benifit was worth it.

I'm using a 180 and the truck stays at about 195 with it. It picked up a little power all around and I didn't really notice any mileage difference. I make short trips every day so I didn't want it to run too cool and pollute the oil any more than I had to.
