ls1 throttle body

ls1 throttle body
so i was just wondering if anyone has tried putting an ls1 throttle body on a 2003 5.3?...one of my friends has a ws6 and just put an ls6 throttle body on his car so he has the stock one laying around...would this work without much modification? thanks
