Ls1 style intake mani on 5.3?
Will it work bcus i need the clearance versus a truck intake cus its goin in a car and what might b some factors to look for in this switch? Thanks

yes its possible, but a bad idea. you cant just slap them intakes right on. and you will lose some low end with the ls1 intake.

i don't know the specifics of the swap, but it's possible & been done many times. just search around & there should be a couple write-ups somewhere
he said it's going in a car, so i'd assume a slight loss of low end is acceptable due to the decrease in weight. that and most people don't do LS swaps in cars to pull trailers or putt around town.
