Apples to oranges
just pointing out flaws within the system
In my case I bought the "sparkomatic" because of the warrenty, full credit towards a new PCM, and recomendations of other people on different boards.
When I bought my truck I was getting the diablo till I read about it only working on 1 vehicle (sounds like something else)
To each their own, hope you enjoy your tune as much as I do

I think I need to work on low end torque to start with, it seems a bit sluggish till i reach the 2800-3000 rpm range...
Oh, and what's tunning exactly(plugs, wires, dis cap, button and stuff)? I read some thing about neilson tunning?(or something I cant find it again)
thanks

helps the out a bunch on the low end. mine is a bat out of hell out of the hole.
but yes there are several things that you can do, and yes it does get expensive very quick.
my opinion best bang for your buck would be a gear swap to 3.73's if you do alot of highway driving, if not than 4.10's would be perfect.
a posi trac ( i have an Eaton posi but some guys went with auburn. just depends on how you feel about either one.)
torque converter. vigilante or yank are about the best two to choose from.
2800 - 3200 stall.
exhaust
intake there are several to choose from as stated before.
filter
and one other thing you might want to seriously comsider. and that would be a trans up grade.
shift kit
billit servo
and a 4L65E upgrade.
once you start modding these trucks and get much over stock horsepower. some of us have been popping these things like crazy. not trying to scare ya but just giving a heads up on what might come about.
if you do go and have the trans built up make sure you research the shop very well, or risk getting screwed.
a built trans is gonna run ya about 2800 to 3400 depending on what they have to do.
so have fun and mod the hell out of it
