Yup same here they fit perfectly!

 

I've had MSD wires on my truck for at least 5 years now, got them on the internet somewhere. At the time I just went through the drop down menu's and ordered the part number that was specific to my truck.

 

I zip tied a pice of 12ga solid wire (black insulation as not to be noticed) to both of the stock plug wires that are in contact with the primary from boot to boot. Used about 4 zipties per wire and was able to bend them any way needed and had no problems with burning at all.

 

if you want to spend the money these work great.

 

If I had pacesetters I would just keep using stock. The spacing between the pacesetters is identical to the OBX passenger side header and my stock wires fit perfectly not even close to touching anything. It's the driver's side that messes the wires up.

 

if you get the ones for the LS1, they are shorter than those ^^^^ and clear without incident.

And, yes, I still have problems with my driver's side dynatech hump

 

I thought you said the shorter LS1 wires solve the problem of the hump???

 

Do the OBX have the same hump as dynatech? I don't know of a wire that will get you around the problem of the hump. It's a beast all to it's own.

But, the LS1 MSD wires do fit much better than the longer MSD wire on all other primaries.

 

They don't fit guys. Maybe my coils are little different as it's a year 2000 truck.

 

"how" do they not fit?

there were two different types of coils used on the truck, but I do not know the differences between (although, I think one difference was where they were located on the valve cover)
