LS1 or LS6 Intake?

Default LS1 or LS6 Intake?

Will the intake manfold off a ls1 or ls6 do us any good? will an injector swap be neccesary and will the TB go on there?

The truck intake actually flows better than both of those.

The torque and the power is moved around in the curve though. I would suggest staying with the truck intake.

There has been some new talk about these intakes on the truck. Yes in theory, the longer runners on the truck intake should give more power, but the shear flow of the LS6 is beginning to open some eyes. One of the problems with the LS6 is the throttle body location and the fuel delivery setup on the trucks. There is a pulley that will interfere with the location of the T/B on the LS6. I have actually been looking at the possibility of doing this as a trial next year based on some of my conversations with the guys at MTI. If nothing else, at least we may know if it works.
