Default ls1 to ls6 conversion package

i was looking thru the summit catalog and i found a conversion ls1 to ls6 it includes: ls6 cylinder heads, head bolts,head gaskets, ls6 cam with204/218 duration and .550"/.550t" lift,water pump gaskets,crankshaft seal,crank shaft bolt and valve cover gaskets.tpart number NAL-GMPO12 the price is $ 1,799. think this mod wil help? is it worth the money?

You'll probably see 380ish hp with that combo on a 5.3.....it's EXACTLY what the factory used to make 405hp from the ls6 so you know it's good stuff. It'll require tuning to get it 100% though

i read on sport truck mag.that on a 6.0 with '01-newer ls6cylinder heads and '02- newer ls6 cam,valvesprings,and pushrods and shortie headers that you would be lookin at the 400 hp/400lb-ft range. i wish this was true for my 5.3 i would do it.
