i use the car accessories and the truck AC thats why i said you need whta you need. the truck has a different plug then the car one or atleast the mine did

i used fbody accessories with the truck AC. my truck AC plug was different then the fbody one and the belt i said to get is the one you need

My truck A/C and LS1 harness connector are the same. I know there's different truck A/C compressors where they pulled the mufflers off of the compressor and went with a straight hose. Some of those compressors had a pigtail on them and that was one of the differences. Here's a pic of mine during the conversion.

did you use the bracket that bolts the compressor to the block off an fbody??

Not sure what you mean. What bracket? BTW, I might have jumped on this thread to fast. I thought that was an LS1 looking at the harmonic blance but that's just an underdrive balancer huh?

fuel rails are gone..

im using a truck 6.0 block..right now my truck a/c is on the block and is sticking out too far because of the truck/f-body difference..any one got closer pics..

i used the truck brackets but enlongated the holes so it would line up. had 7500miles and no issues. and my AC had different plugs then the fbody one

I used the truck bracket also but wasn't able to elongate the holes because of compressor to crossmember clearance. I had to machine another V-Groove in the balancer to move the belt up in alignment with the truck compressor. The f-body bracket will not work with the truck compressor.
