ls1 intake

Default ls1 intake

are the ls1 intakes on the vettes camros or TA's any different and if they are will that intake fit onto a 2001 6.0?

There is no reason to install a LS1 intake on a 6.0 truck engine. The truck intakes actually produce more torque than a car LS1 intake. I think the LS1 intake bolts on directly but you have to modify the throttle body, throttle cable and fuel rails (not sure about this, can someone confirm?).

If it's the 6.0L engine used in the SS silverados, LS1's actually generate more torque. You might see some increase from an LS6 intake, but i wouldn't put in an LS1 intake, if that makes sense...

Might as well replace the fuel rails and TB while you're at it, they'd be cheaper than the intake and would help a lot.
