i was wondering if anyone on here has installed an ls1 hot cam in a 6.0 and if so what were the gains???

Most are going to tell you there are by far better cams out there. A few hours of browsing on this site and you will be able to tell really quick. I have also heard the cam is hard to tune for being what it is.

I ran the hot cam in my ta for my first cam install and I liked it, I didn't tune it and it was kinda hard to start when cold but after a little warmup it was fine
This was in a ls1 with a t56 tranny and moser 12 bolt it made 391/383 with full bolt on's

whats a suggestion for a better cam in my 2500hd with 6.0(prtty much stock)

what are you looking to get outta it? how much do you want to sacrifice idle and do you want to change the torque converter or run the stock one?
