Default LS1 Heads on a 5.3

Ok, Me neighbor just gave me a set of Good LS1 heads (he got ls2 heads for his engine). Will they work on my 5.3? I am running an STS so this will lead to me cranking up the boost a good bit. I am also going to be swapping out the springs for a set of Yellow LS6 Springs. I don't wanna drop big bucks on these heads as I will be getting Dart's when I get ready to put my 6.0 on. I only ask because I have heard of shrouding issues with LS6 heads.

They'll bolt right up...but the bigger valves on the 3.89" bore may cause some shrouding and affect flow numbers negatively. with the STS it shouldn't be much of a problem but I figured you should at least know about it.
