I already have a fan on my setup but it's insufficient. All the space is nice. i'm going to pick up the ls1 fans this week and install them.
I already have a painless relay and thermo sensor, so i was thinking i could run that thermo sensor wire to the pcm and let the pcm turn the fans on and off and set the on/off temp with ls1edit. the stock setting is way too high. so instead of the wire going to the sensor, which is installed on the passenger side radiator tank, it will go to the correct pin on the pcm. that way i get an accurate reading on engine temp instead of reading the temp on the radiator. also, i can set this temp higher during the winter and lower during the summer with ls1edit.
what you think?
thanks,
allen
