He has an 2000 f-body cam its only 5* less on the intake and 2* on the exhaust. With a little less lift. For about 100 bucks to do the swap that that will make a differance in a 4.8 id say go for it.

 

well i have we will have not money in it what so ever the entire ls1 was free and the cam swap is a breeze....i did the one in my truck and it was the easiest i have ever done...so the labor is not a problem i think im gonna go for it i have nothing better to do with my laid off self ha ha

Normally I'd say don't bother for the small gain, but if it's free what the heck. There will be a gain so any free gain is worth it since you don't mind the labor

yea i guess lol i have most of the pinks all out set to record on my dvr so that keeps me busy most of the time
