Default LS1 build questions

I am building a LS1 for street and strip in my 03 sierra.

Parts so far

99 ls1 block/stock bore
05 5.3 crank and rods/weighed and balanced
Keith Black pistons
ls6 ported pump
Ls7 lifters and trays
etc...........
will a comp 212/218 low lift work better with a set of patriot stg 2 5.3 ported heads, or the patriot ls6 heads?

about how much power should I expect with long tubes and other bolt ons?

Thanks for your time-

I'd go with a 218-228 intake duration cam with the LS1. If you're going more cubes, you can go bigger with the cam. Also if you're going to be spending the money on the heads, you might as well get a cam with some more lift to make use of those higher flow heads.

Just my .02

Sorry I got your text late Jason. My phone was dead and I just got home from work. 230's duration cam should get you into the solid 415-430 rwhp range I believe. With a good intake, of course.
