I know i need a PCM but dont i need to change the water pupmp and modify the injecter rails is i use the LS1 intake? Also will the LS1 trans bolt into my truck? I know its an automatic so im guessing its a 4l60e or maybe a 65e? Or should i just use my truck trans?

Id be asking for my money back. Sicne you already gave him the money he probably isnt too worried about getting it out of there soon, meanwhile he is racking up the miles and ******* the **** out of it. Get your money back or get your motor

If you can get an LS1 for cheap then go that route, not enough difference between two to justify the cost.

if you have a 4.8 you could use your trans, computer , and everything on an ls1 or 6.0. trans is a 4l60e and yes youd have to rig your wp and stuff to use the ls1 intake. stock computer will work even without a tune, it would go better with a tune.
