Default LS INTO OBS, TB ?'s

Swapping LS into my OBS.

everything is out of an 00 Chevy 2500 HD with 6.0

I switched out heads to L92's with the intake.

I need a CABLE DRIVEN TB!
I purchased a FAST 90mm and it would not seal at the bottom.

87mm Ported Throttle Body 07+ GM Trucks 4.8 5.3 6.0 6.2L Vortec Max L92 LY6 LS2 | eBay

I had great success with Scott Janzer on my old Vortec Motor. 50 bucks I can not complain.

My question is will my sensors from my 00 TB bolt into this one? If not what are the part numbers for one's that will?

Now the Engine harness is also from the 00 as well...will I need to do some wiring to accommodate the new sensors?

If you want to stick with drive by cable then that 87mm throttle you posted wont work because it is DBW.

I had the same issue with sealing with a nick williams TB so I went with the edelbrock 90mm. It bolted up and sealed without a problem.

They have multiple versions:
3864 - 90mm TB with sensors
38640 - 90mm TB without sensors
38643 - Black 90mm TB with sensors
386403 - Black 90mm TB without sensors

Here is the 38640 from a sponsor:
Edelbrock 38640 - GM LS Series 90mm Throttle Body without IAC or TPS | SDParts - 1-800-456-0211

I am so sorry for the confusion.

I want a cable driven TB, NOT the electronic one. Thanks Arch but I am not positive on the edelbrock b/c of funds and needing Injectors.

So your saying that a TB from a trail blazer Ss will work? It is cable driven, and will work with harness? Or need to spliced in

Really there is something about electric driven TB's, that just sit well. My perception is of them is not the greatest as in lack of response over time and reliabilty. Cable TBs have been working for a long time making good power and great response. That is where I feel comfortable with.

PRO TOUR HOE...

<3 your truck! I just watched a vid on it the other day, some posted it on another forum!

Looks like I am going with the Edelbrock...those EBAY brand make me kinda nervous. Scott Janzer doesn't have any in his inventory.

Will my sensors from the 00 bolt into the Edelbrock?

If not what are the part numbers.
