Default LQ9 vs LQ4

Ok well i've been doin "some" research about the different engines. I checked some past threads and found this one https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ght=LQ9+vs+LQ4 .. this one seems to give good info. I've seen many SSS's that run the LQ9 and a super/turbocharger and was wonderin what would work best for my set up?? I have a 2006 RCSB Chevrolet Silverado 2WD currently with a 4.3L V6 and looking to swap a 6.0 and need help. I'm looking for atleast 450hp on the ground probably procharged/intercooled and was woderin your opinion, LQ9 or LQ4???

depends on your budget...
a LQ4 is goin to be cheaper than a LQ9.
450hp wont be hard with some boost, just pick your poision..

budget will depend on the "better/more effecent" choice for further adjustments.

Go with the LQ4...it's cheaper and gives you much more options down the road, both NA and FI. Take that from someone who went with the lq9
