Default Lq9 with non-intercooled boost

Will my Lq9 be ok running 5-6lbs of boost not intercooled? (whipple) I am not going to be modding the truck anymore or upping the boost, so will it be ok? (custom tune and larger injectors, no whipple stuff)

As long as you stay below 7-8 psi with a good tune, you'll be fine. I run 7.5psi non-intercooled.

Yea i know but i don't want to build a race truck, i need it to stay reliable as it will be my daily driver til 100,000 miles prolly, well, as close as i can get it to that. Without that intercooler it's kinda hard to do much more, i may put alky inj. on it alittle later and bump the boost up a wee bit when i move to a cooler climate in the summer.
