Smile LQ4 vs LS1 cams

would a stock ls1 cam be an improvement for the LQ4 6.0 ?


or am i just wasting my time

Wasting time....

02' z06 is the smallest I would go and consider it worth the time.

As easy as these cams are to swap out I would go bigger and just change back at smog time. Unless you plan on zero tuning

If it gives you an idea, most of us F-body guys do all the bolt-ons and then a cam swap and gain 80-100rwhp over stock #s.

Do an LS6 cam and yu will see a better gain. But the LS1 cam will pick you up a few ponies.....
