Default Good cam for radix

What is a good cam for a 5.3 with a radix? I dont want anything that Needs computer tuning, and I could care less if it lopes or not. Mods are ASM headers, k&N fipk, 4.10 gears. I probably could stand to lose some lowend if that helps. thanks

You need a wide lobe separation to keep the overlap to a minimum so you don't bleed off to much boost.I'd try a 212/218 Comp with the high lift lobes and a 115 lobe separation and maybe about 2 degrees of advance groud in.

My first guess would be the 212/218 .52X/.52X 114, or the 212/218 high lift 115, that whitt mentioned...

Neither of those are supposed to need tuning. (you know it'll definitely help though... )

I've got the 02' ls-6 cam in my burb it works pretty well, although I'm planning a 6.0L this summer, and I'm thinking of doing a custom grind, something no more than 212 @.050" but probably 208-210
and intake in the exhaust around 216-218 @ .050" but either through cam lift and rocker arms, I want to get .580" lift and a 115 LSA.

On stock tuning and a 5.3, I'd do a 210/216 XE high lift comp on a 116 LSA +2 advanced.

I like my 216/220 114. I would go with more of a split if I were doing it over though.
