Default LQ4 vs. LQ9 comparison

First just want to say I have searched and cant seem to find my exact answer hope you guys can help.

Are the LQ4 & LQ9 Blocks Exactly the same? I know the pistons and heads are different but I will be changing those anyways. The main thing I would like to know is there any strength gains from one to the other? Motor will be eventually Fully forged and turbo'd. Thanks for you help fellas.

The blocks are the same, as you mentioned, the only differences are in the rotating assemblies. The heads are the same also. (317's)
