45 hp and 20 lb/ft of torque in stock form...about .6-.7 point of compression (10.08:1 LQ9 vs. 9.4:1 LQ4 scr)

the difference between the lq4 and lq9 is negligible...personally I'm a bit baffled why you're doing the swap, seems pointless. Was something wrong with your lq4? The lq4 is rated at 335 and the lq9 is 345. 10hp due to the increase in CR. It will work a little better with your cam though.

Id just mill the heads on the 6L thats in the truck. Get the CR up to what the LQ9 is and you got the same thing minus alot of money..

Have to agree. It isn't worth the time for the power you will gain.. Sell the 9 to your buddy then have more to do mods.. :nods:

Huh, the info I found on the net said the LQ4 was 300 horse...I thought that sounded low actually. Maybe that was an earlier LQ4 spec or something....
