what kind of dyno gains did you get from the cam? Would it have that same low end grunt without the stall? That cam sounds like it would be good for me, what kind is it?

I did the 6L swap the same time I did the cam so I dont know what hp the cam alone would get you. I have this cam with my radix S/C. This is not an ideal S/C cam so if your planning to add a blower or a turbo later then this cam is not for you. If youre going to stay NA and want a lot of low end Tq then this is a good cam for you.
The Fuddle 2600 TC I have is pretty tight. It feels almost stock. I think if you just wanted to do the cam now and hold off on the TC you would be fine. There is alot more punch off the line with the TC. Actually I can't stomp it because the TC will flash, the boost will kick in and, the cam will start making tq all at the same time and the back tires just light up. Which of course can be fun but, sometimes you actually want traction.

Stock stall rpm on the HDs is 2500 so you dont need a stall.

Yea, if the stock TC stalls to 2500 then youre good to go. Look at these....

looks like the vinic 080 would be great for mine, will i need springs as well? The only reason I think i need a stall is b/c i run 315x75x16's which is a 35" tall tire. But I would rather go down a little in tire size and save from buying new stall, especially if this cam gives me the extra jump off the line im looking for.

I'm not sure at what point on stock valvetrain parts you have to upgrade. But, if you do need springs....LS6 or 918's would work for that cam. You dont need the $$$ dual springs that I got talked into.

I got hardened push rods, springs and the cam. No need for rockers. Stockers are good, in fact better than some aftermarkets.

thats good to know, so can anybody tell me if i need the 918 springs with the 080 cam? Would the Comp 212/218 be similar in performance and how does low vs. high duration effect performance? How much should I expect to pay for a cam install? Thanks for everyone's help so far, this site is definetely making my truck faster.
