LPP Lts & ORY install on SUV - note for SUV owners
#11
I Put everything in, noticed was hitting on drivers y pipe right after it comes up from going under the tranny before it merges into the pass side.
Just marked where it was hitting, took the cross member back out and cutting wheel to it with around 1x2" wide cut out of the top rounded corner where it was hitting. Probably 1/2" of clearance now, hope that makes sense..
also forgot til now but same pipe is also really close to the back right corner of the tranny pan iirc, maybe 1/4" or less there, and tranny lines are close even after trying to bend them out of the way. but ive got some heat wrap for those two spots when it gets hot out to hopefully help..

When the flanges were welded on did you cut off the correct amount??The Y is supposed to slip on the collectors a good 3 or so inches.. If it wasnt cut off the Y is pushed back to far.
From the pics it looks like the flange is welded to the end of the expanded pipe..
The cross member is in the same spot on the frame for 2wd/4wd..

Yea, the welding pushed the wye pipe back is the only thing I can come up with, so it will take some fabrication to get the fitment correct. Thanks for the responses. Ill have the exhaust shop shorten up both collectors, and see how fitment goes.
