Default Lotsofn, how is your truck so fast

I've looked at your posted mods, and I just dont get it. Every mod you listed, I have, and then some. What is your 1/8 mile time? So far my best 60' time is 2.018, and my 1/8 time is 9.040. I've never run the 1/4, but I know I'm nowhere near that fast. I'm running the 1/4 at Gainesville tommorow night, I just hope I dont embarace myself.

Come on now, there has to be a secret. Is your truck a base or base plus model? What kind of stuff are you stripping out before you race. My truck is an extended cab,and since I had the heads and intake done all my power is over 3500rpms. Before I race I take out the audio-vidio, spare tire, I even clean out the glove box. The back seat even comes out. I feel like I'm scrachin the bottom of the barrel.

It's a LS all power,I take the tailgate off(it fell off at the track before )on my last trip to the track I pulled my passenger seat out(52 lbs)
"all my power is over 3500 rpm's"Sounds like to me a converter would wake your truck up.

Im trying to get a 3000 stall, but all my credit cards are already maxed out on the truck, j/k. Really Im trying to order it through the navy exchange, cuz they do price matches, and I dont have to pay tax on it.
Sorry to hear about the tail gate, that must have sucked.

You don't have a stall? I thought you had all his mods and then some? A stall would really wake it up. I am getting ASMs and a Yank 3200 as soon as I pay my new TV off, hopefully by the end of this year or beginning of next year. Hopefully I will see 13s as well, but I doubt it.

Hey snake, I'll be at Gainesville tonight too. Looks like I'll be seeing your taillights in the 1/4! I think you'll come out pretty happy with your 1/4 mile times there. I've never run the 1/8 mile here in town, but from what I hear they have a tough time keeping dirt off the track and traction sucks sometimes.

And not to brag, but the '02 model 5.3's seem to be faster than other models. I'll bet that's helping lotsofun too.
