Rex & Richard - what does it take to sleeve a cylinder? I'm going to try to package up the engine here in the next day or two and get it shipped out to you.

Kyle - thanks for posting those pics.
i dont think you cut a corner by using the truck intake

Well some good news....this makes me happy.

I'm starting to order new parts

Getting one of these (top one)

and one of these

and a pair of these

and one of these

and finally, one of these

Now I gotta figure out what to do about the fuel lines. I think I'm going to run a new -8 feed line from the tank and convert the current feed line to a return line.

it's all in the name of safety

Went home at lunch and got the motor pretty much bolted to the pallet. I need some shorter bolts, the ones that I had for the engine stand are about 3/4" too long.

Thanks Devin...she'll be back sooner than later. I'm going to take this opportunity to do a lot of clean-up that I should have done last time. Rex & Richard have already been extremely helpful...I think I've called each one of them about 5 times in the past 2 days

Looks like it's gonna be fun!! I remember Richard spoke highly of the 4 barrel Carb and Vic Jr. when I was doing my build, he really likes that set-up due to some research he's done on it. I wasn't ready to go that route but I'm excited to see how you like it!
