I put a front mount turbo on my 05 2500hd with 35's. I had tuned it (k&n, true duals) and it drove nice but hauling a trailer was kinda sloppy on big hills. + I like the acceleration now with 8lbs of boost by 3000rpms

Since you're just planning bolt ons, you'll probably get the best gains from long tube headers (well, tuning will get you the most gain but besides that...). For a 6.0 looking for torque, I'd stick with 1 3/4 primaries as 1 7/8 would be too much IMO. I know you said bolt on's only, but cam swaps are so easy on these things that I'd recommend one of those for sure. You will definitely see a nice gain with one of the Comp 212/218 versions, and you can still use the stock converter behind that six liter. I'd ditch the Flowmasters along with the Hypertech since they've been proven not to live up to their name, but the difference is so minimal that if you really like the sound you can leave them alone as you'll probably never feel the extra 2 or 3 hp that a better flowing muffler would provide

GEARS GEARS GEARS. I'd say go with 4.88s since you are running 37 inch tires. Most run 4.56s on 35s. I'd do that first before anything. You a not up in your torque curve right now. I've done the full bolt-ons on my LQ4 and with my 35s, its still a dog. I do think a good tune should be loaded at the same time.

Yea, I was assuming that gears were a given with those 37's

Yeah I was sure that I needed gears. When I went from 3.42's to 4.11 in my Z, it was like a 100hp gain. HAHA The differance was huge. In any case I am NOT swapping motors, etc... this is a toy not a project. HAHA So it looks like a nice set of LT's, tune, and gears will be the ticket. Thanks everyone for the advise.

Default Supercharged LQ4

I have a 2004 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 6.0L w/ Vortech Supercharger. Supercharger has helped MPG and HP a great deal but the charger itself overheats when i pull my travel trailer. Would an intercooler help that much? Should I sell supercharger and change heads? and if so , which heads? Thanks for any help or ideas.

Flip your manifolds, weld up a collector, switch to a turbo setup and front mount intercooler...
