Default Looking at the dark side.

SO i am looking at some local 1500 extcab short box 2wd trucks to make into a street truck I found one its 3699 dollars and it has 65000 miles on it

im thinking of grabbing that and buying it and making a nice street truck..

however I love my ford.

I can't have 2 vehicles. now my question is. how fast can a 5.3-6.0 truck go and still remain daily drivable?

ever since this year I have been amazed at these engines. I watched a guy take his grandfathers car a ford Zephyr put a 408 stroker in it twin turbos and a 4 speed jehric manual drag tranny and he drove it every day to and from the track at street legal events and it runs mid 8's

HE DRIVES IT ON THE STREET!!!

how deep are your pockets? and how fast do you want to go? lol

there is more than a few 10-11-12 second trucks that are "daily" on here, choose the right parts, and a lot of money and searching, good luck!

10-12 second daily driven GM trucks are not uncommon, especially with bigger cubes or FI
