Default Looking to buy LS1 EDIT and don't know which one to get

Me and a friend are looking into buying an LS1 Edit program and do it ourselves. I don't know which program to buy for my pc. Does anyone know which program to get and where i can get it from?

The price i was given for a none locking system was $6,500. I don't think i am looking up the right system.

carputing.com. Sounds like your looking at the wrong system. Should run you about $550.00. You can get a cable and software that will run on your home computer. If you can get the vehicle close enough, you won't need a laptop.

Hey does anyone know if LS1EDIT is compatible with the 2003's, specifically my 03 Sierra 5.3?

I really need to get rid of that irritating 95-100mph top speed governer, along with some other issues. I was thinking about the Predator but I know LS1EDIT has WAY more features. I am pretty familiar with Accel DFI (which I have on my Honda) so I am sure LS1EDIT would be workable.

Any info would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if it will work with the 03's yet. They made a buttload of wireing changes in the 03. Contact Carputing and ask them. They are pretty good (in my case anyway) about answering questions.

a single VIN system is 550 i think. and i think its like 1000 even for 4 VINs. if you can find 2 other people who want edit close to you yall can split it up and get a good deal. only problem is you only get on cable
